LARRY LAUB

Larry Laub was a standout bowler in youth leagues, dominating action at the famous L & L Castle Lanes, San Francisco, as well as in the Bay Area Travel League, at an early age. 2025 HOF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE RECIPIENT – W. GARBER

WAYNE GARBER

Wayne Garber was born and raised in Modesto and began bowling at the age of four. His parents were responsible for introducing him to bowling at such an early age and encouraged his development by sending him to many Dick Ritger Bowling Camps.

Garber’s greatest achievement in his illustrious career came at the age of 42, when he made his first televised appearance in the Red, White and Blue Championship at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas. BONNIE GARBER

Bonnie Garber was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. She became involved in bowling at the age of 18, when the practice of “cruising” was outlawed, according to Mrs. Garber. BVL 2024 REPORT

BVL Committee The Bowlers to Veterans Link Hospitals and Presentations Report 

BVL Donations submitted by MARCH 1 from Local Associations will be recognized for the 2023-24 season and will allow their finalists to be eligible to participate in the 2024 California USBC Helen Duval Veterans Tournament.

The California USBC Helen Duval Veterans Tournament will be held at BOWLERO SAN BERNARDINO on March 30, 2024. Entry forms are due MARCH 1.

Youth bowlers in California will continue to be a part of the Fundraising as well as participating in the Helen Duval Veterans Tournament. We will again award a $500 scholarship for the two youth champions as well as $50 scholarships for the other youth finalists.
