Section A. Board Composition, Authority and Duties
Lowered the Director count for the State Board from 15 to 13
PA #2: Article VII – Meetings / Section A. Annual Meeting
Allows two delegates instead of one for local associations with 200 or less members.

Lowered the Annual Meeting quorum from 40 to 25.

BVL 2023 REPORT
BVL Committee The Bowlers to Veterans Link Hospitals and Presentations Report
On behalf of the bowlers in California, the CUSBC BVL Committee has donated $92,100 to the following Veterans Centers in California for 2022-23 season. Since 1959, the California BVL Fund has donated over $9,840,330.20 to our California Veterans. We want to thank all of you for your continued support of the California BVL.
2023 California USBC Helen Duval Veterans Tournament.

Youth bowlers in California will continue to be a part of the Fundraising as well as participating in the Helen Duval Veterans Tournament. *NEW* this year will be a $500 scholarship for the two youth champions as well as $50 scholarships for the other youth finalists.

The Senior Singles Tournament is open to all California USBC members at least 50 years of age. This tournament is held in a different location each year. Winners in each age classifications will qualify to the USBC National Seniors Tournament for the following year.

PAMELA FALLER and DANIEL HONG SELECTED AS 2022 STAR OF TOMORROW WINNERS
PAMELA FALLER is a senior at Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School in Glendale and has been bowling league at Jewel City Bowl for over 9 years. She recently shot her first 300 earlier this year and has a high series of 726. Pamela bowls all of the local and state events each year and has attended Junior Gold in Indiana, Texas and Michigan.

MABEL SHEASLEY
Mabel has served bowling since 1981 on her local Women’s board in Stockton. She served as President from 1990 to 1995. She served as Secretary from 1996 to 2005. She then served as the local Men’s association secretary from August 2005 until April 2014. She served on both the Women’s and Open Associations as a Director and served as chairman of the merged committee in 2015 until they finally merged in 2016. Mabel was elected as 1st V.P. and in 2018 she was appointed Association Manager which she currently holds.
Mabel was also elected to serve on the new CUSBC board. She was involved in running the Senior Singles tournament and under her guidance the tournament has thrived! She served on the BVL/Helen Duval Veterans Tournament and became Co-Chair from 2012 to 2021! She is an inspiration to all who have met her!
