2026 Hall of Fame Inductee
STACY RIDER

Stacy Rider was born in Anaheim and now lives in La Habra. She first became involved in bowling at La Mirada Bowl at the tender age of 6. Her parents, Darryl and Sherry, bowled in leagues at La Mirada, so it was only natural for Stacy to join the American Junior Bowling Congress at an early age.
Over the course of the past 50-plus years, Stacy has carved a niche for herself as both a professional competitor, and also as the sales manager and league coordinator at Linbrook Bowling Center in Anaheim.
Rider credits her parents for her success in bowling. “They were my biggest fans and supported me as much as they could,” said Stacy. “My dad coached me and knew my game better than anyone.” Stacy’s son, R.J. Davis, continues the family legacy with a JAT title of his own, as well as two perfect 300 games.
When you look at Stacy’s list of accomplishments you begin to realize the phenomenal job that her father did in coaching. Here’s a look at her youth accomplishments in the AJBC and YABA:
- 13 Junior Amateur Tour (JAT) titles
- 1st Place, Orange County Junior Elims at Garden Square Bowl (1984)
- 300 Game, West Coast Junior Elims at L & L Castle Lanes (16 years old)
- 1st Place, California YABA State Scratch All-Events in Fresno (1987)
- Member of the Southern California Bowling Writers Girls Team (4 times)
- Southern California Bowling Writers Girl Bowler of the Year (1985 & 1987)
If that’s not enough, her adult bowling accomplishments are far greater. She began her winning ways with a victory in the Western Women’s Professional Bowling (WWPB) Open at Danville Bowl in Northern California in 1988. Three more victories would come her way in the WWPB with victories in 1990 (Rocky Mountain Open), 1998 (Big Bear Open), and 2009 (Mixed Doubles with Scott Kraye).
Rider bowled for 14 years on the Ladies Touring Players Association (LTPA), Ladies Professional Bowlers Tour (LPBT) and Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA). She recorded two national titles, both with doubles partner Anne Marie Pike, in 1990 and 1992. In addition, Stacy appeared 18 times in top 5 televised appearances.
Rider has 16 certified 300 games and 4 certified 800 series, including a personal high of 840 (241-300-299) that was rolled at the 1991 Rocky Mountain Open on the WWPB Tour. She has a personal high book average of 226 recorded during the 2007-08 season, and has been named to the Southern California Bowling Writers All-Star team on 8 different occasions.
