The Bowlers to Veterans Link Hospitals and Presentations Report
On behalf of the bowlers in California, the CUSBC BVL Committee has donated $124,766.33 to the following Veterans Centers in California for 2012-2013 season. From 1959 through 2012-2013 the California BVL Fund has donated $8,940,328.55 to our California Veterans. We want to Thank all of you for your continued support of the California BVL.
The Senior Singles Tournament is open to all California USBC members at least 50 years of age at the time of participation in the tournament. The format is six games total + handicap. This tournament is held in a different location each year. Winners in set age classifications will automatically qualify to the USBC National Seniors Tournament. Entry for the national event will be paid by the CUSBC.

On behalf of the bowlers in California, the CUSBC BVL Committee has donated $132,187.02 to the following Veterans Centers in California and $5,000 to the National BVL for 2011-2012. Since 1959 through 2011-2012 the California BVL Fund has donated $8,815,562.22 to our California Veterans. We want to THANK all of you for your continued support of the California BVL.
CAROL JEAN MANCINI was inducted for Meritorious Service. A familiar figure to anyone involved in bowling in So. Calif, Carol Mancini was born in the one stoplight town of Chanute, Kansas. In 1951 a six-lane bowling center was built in Chanute. Carol was a senior in high school but she also worked making airplane parts from 3 P.M. to Midnight.
